SEAL and the Global Dimension website

Description:

The key objective of the SEAL and the Global Dimension website is to provide clear pathways and appropriate resources for embedding the Global Dimension within the SEAL (Social and Emotional Learning) programme, engaging school pupils in global and development issues. You can search by SEAL themes or Global Dimension concepts or topics, to help pupils achieve Global – SEAL Learning Outcomes.

The SEAL and the Global Dimension project is based at DECSY (Development Education Centre South Yorkshire). The project has been working with the SEAL national strategies consultants to enhance the SEAL Learning Outcomes by weaving in the eight key concepts from the Global Dimension. You can download the new SEAL-Global Dimension Learning Outcomes from the website. The project is developing materials for Key Stages 1-3, all written in the SEAL format.

The website has Primary, Secondary, CPD and Further Resources sections. You can access the materials and be kept informed of new developments by creating your own log-in on the SEAL-Global Dimension website. The project also runs training for teachers and other educators.
